As-Samee’ (The All-Hearing)

Somewhere in between 

A mourning heart and clenched teeth

My words stood loudly, unspoken 

Breathing became drowning 

But crying allowed surviving 

The dirt of Earth,

The shadow of Moon,

The hidden Stars and the endless Skies

All stood witness to Your Mercy on me

When this dried out fractured heart 

Became lined with light 

And mended with peace 

As You brought fruit from storms

Life from Death 

Something from Nothing 

You made this beating heart 

Live again.  

You brought spring to me 

As You said 

"Verily with hardship comes ease"
